New & Replacement Boilers from Local Specialists
New & Replacement Boilers in Bromley
Looking for a new or replacement boiler in Bromley? Bromley Boiler Specialists provide professional boiler installation backed by extensive experience in boiler repairs, servicing and fault finding.
Established in 2007, we’re Gas Safe Registered and Worcester Bosch Accredited, with manufacturer guarantees of up to 12 years available on eligible installations.
Is It Time to Replace Your Boiler?
A boiler doesn’t necessarily need replacing simply because it’s getting older. However, frequent breakdowns, increasing repair costs, poor reliability, major component failure and difficulty sourcing replacement parts can make investing in a new boiler the more practical option.
We’ll assess your existing boiler and explain your options before recommending what to do next.
Repair or Replace?
We don’t simply install boilers. We have extensive experience diagnosing and repairing them too.
If repairing your current boiler represents better value, we’ll tell you. If replacement makes more financial and practical sense, we’ll explain why and help you choose the right new boiler.
Jason, the business owner, previously worked for Ideal, Vaillant and Glow Worm, so the advice you get is based on years of diagnosing faults rather than on selling boilers. If you’d like your existing boiler looked at first, see our boiler servicing and repairs page.

Choosing the Right Boiler
Every home is different. We’ll consider your property’s size, existing heating system, hot water requirements, controls and budget before recommending a suitable boiler.

Combi Boiler
A Combination, or “Combi,” boiler serves as a dual-purpose appliance, functioning as both a highly efficient water heater and a central heating boiler within a single, space-saving unit. Combi boilers swiftly heat water directly from the main supply whenever you open a faucet, eliminating the necessity for a separate hot water storage cylinder or a cold water storage tank located in the attic.
- Compact sizes make combi boilers perfect for smaller properties
- Ideal where there is little or no loft space
- No need for a hot water cylinder allows increased living space
- No cold water storage tank frees up a loft for conversion
- No risk of loft pipework freezing
- Less pipework in the home makes installation typically cheaper
System Boiler
A system boiler heats your central heating directly and supplies hot water to a separate storage cylinder. Unlike a regular boiler, most of the working parts are built into the boiler itself, so there is no need for a cold water tank in the loft.
- Delivers hot water to several taps or showers at the same time
- Well suited to homes with two or more bathrooms
- Most components are built in, so installation is quicker and tidier
- Works with mains-pressure hot water for a stronger shower
- Frees up the loft, as no cold water storage tank is needed
- Compatible with solar water heating
Regular Boiler
Regular boilers, alternatively referred to as traditional, conventional, heat-only, or back boilers, are best suited for residences already equipped with a traditional heating and hot water system connected to a separate hot water cylinder. These boilers also necessitate a cold water storage tank in the attic to supply the hot water cylinder and a separate tank to regulate the water level within the central heating system.
Detailed below are the benefits:
- Perfect for homes where a lot of hot water is used at the same time
- Ideal where there are two or more bathrooms
- A good option in areas where water pressure is low
- Compatible with solar water heating systems for a lower carbon footprint and lower energy costs

Boiler Installation FAQs
How long does a boiler installation take?
It depends on the type and complexity of the installation. A straightforward replacement in the same position is usually quicker than a job that involves moving the boiler or converting from one system type to another. We’ll confirm the expected timescale with your quotation, before any work starts.
Do I have to replace my boiler if it breaks down?
No. A breakdown doesn’t automatically mean the boiler is beyond saving. We repair boilers as well as install them, so we’ll diagnose the fault first and tell you what it would cost to put right. We’ll only recommend replacement where it genuinely makes better financial or practical sense.
How long should a new boiler last?
That depends on the boiler, how well it was installed, how hard it works and how well it’s looked after. An annual service by a Gas Safe registered engineer is the single biggest thing you can do to keep a boiler running reliably, and it is usually a condition of keeping the manufacturer’s guarantee valid.
Do you remove the old boiler?
Yes. Removing and disposing of your existing boiler is normally included in the installation. We’ll protect the work area while we’re there and clear up properly when we’re finished.
Can you relocate a boiler?
In most cases, yes. Moving a boiler into a cupboard, utility room or loft is a common part of a replacement. It does add pipework, flue and electrical work to the job, so it affects both the cost and the time on site. We’ll look at the proposed position and explain what is involved before you commit.
What guarantees are available?
As a Worcester Bosch Accredited Installer we can offer manufacturer guarantees of up to 12 years on eligible Worcester Bosch installations. The exact length depends on the model chosen and the installation itself, and the guarantee needs to be registered and the boiler serviced annually to remain valid. We’ll confirm what applies to your boiler in writing with your quotation.
Can you install a new boiler into an existing heating system?
Usually, yes. Most replacements go onto the existing radiators and pipework. We’ll check the system’s condition first, as older systems often carry sludge and debris that can damage a new boiler, so a chemical clean, a power flush or a magnetic filter may be recommended as part of the work.
Are you Gas Safe registered?
Yes. All gas work is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers under registration number 514680. Your installation is notified to Gas Safe and Building Control, and you’ll receive the certificate for your records.
Do you install boilers other than Worcester Bosch?
Yes. We’re a Worcester Bosch Accredited Installer and that is usually what we would recommend, but we’re happy to fit other manufacturers’ boilers where a different make suits your home or budget better.
